The Adam J. Brock MD Physician Wellness Fund was created in the Duke Department of Medicine with support of the Brock and Stowers families to honor the memory of Dr. Adam Jennings Brock, who passed away in October of 2019.
Dr. Brock was a talented and compassionate young physician. Through the creation of this fund, we seek to honor his memory and create systems to support residents’ mental health throughout their training.
The Adam J. Brock MD Physician Wellness Fund will help address the unique mental health and wellness needs of residents during the course of their training with a focus on supporting small group moderated debriefing sessions and subsidized access to individual counseling for Internal Medicine residents.
