What are the strengths of the Duke Geriatrics Fellowship Program?
Having did several interviews, Duke Geriatric is the one with the best educational program, it structured to present fellows to different experiences related to cores of geriatric medicine. It will also help you find your future focused interest within geriatric sub-domains, not to mention many excellent mentors in each discipline which are very approachable. I live in Cary because they have excellent schools for my kids. It’s about a 15 to 20 minute drive from my house to Duke. Plus, the charming green route through the Triangle area every morning is very refreshing.

Career and Research Goals

My research focused on the diverse topic of science of health care delivery and informatics. My researches in this field involve using clinical data to apply electronic rules that will help healthcare providers to determine the best practices while ensuring patient safety. Using data from electronic medical records to accurately map acute and chronic conditions for research and practice purposes. Recently, I have a growing interest in wellness and nutrition for elderly.
