What were you looking for in a residency program?
Excellent clinical training, diverse research and educational resources to develop into a multifaceted physician, and most importantly, a feeling that the residents supported each other and were a team.

What are the strengths of the Duke program?
Top-tier clinical training, affiliated university with people thinking about medicine from many different perspectives, supportive program directors and staff, and the co-residents.

What's best about living in Durham and the Triangle?
Things are so convenient. It is easy to get everything I need to done on my days off and still have time to relax.

What do you like to do outside of medicine?
See live music and theater, attend lectures by people passionate about things having nothing to do with medicine, travel.
