What are your career goals?

I’m interested in medical education and professional development.

What were you looking for in a fellowship program?

An academically rigorous community comprised of collegial faculty eager to support me in the career path of my choosing.

What are the strengths of the Duke program?

Among many other things, the program leadership is incredibly receptive to feedback and supportive of fellows in both their career development and moreover their personal wellbeing.

What has surprised you most about Duke?

There is not a single faculty member in the division that isn’t wonderful to work with.

What have you liked about living in Durham/RTP?

By [literally] triangulating resources between three different communities, you get the experience many of the benefits of a big city at a fraction of the cost. You name it: an international airport, great food, good music, and beautiful scenery. Plus, it’s not a far drive to the mountains or the beach!

What advice would you give about moving to Durham?

Beware: if you come, it’s hard to leave.
