Where is your hometown?

Hamilton, N.J.

Where did you train?

Undergraduate- Rutgers
Medical School- Rutgers - New Jersey Medical School
Residency- University of Massachusetts Medical School - Baystate

What are your career goals?

My goal is to become an academic general nephrologist. I would also like to leverage my med-peds training into a career involving transitional care of pediatric patients with kidney disease into the world of adult nephrology. I would like to be involved in teaching in some way, and would like a career in general clinical nephrology that incorporates pediatric nephrology in some way

What were you looking for in a fellowship program?

The most important thing for me, as cliché as it may sound, was that the fellows and faculty in a program get along and enjoy working with each other. The next thing was a program which would provide me with a strong foundation in general nephrology, as well as access to subspecialty nephrologists. Finally, I was also looking for a program with a strong pediatric nephrology presence, and one which would allow for me to gain some experience in pediatric nephrology during my fellowship.

What are the strengths of the Duke program?

The program seems responsive to fellow concerns and requests. The fellows and attendings seem to get along and work well together.

What are your hobbies?

cooking/eating, baking, brewing beer, board games
