A general internist in practice for several years, Dr. Brown has now finished Fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and has rejoined the Faculty in the Division of General Medicine, Palliative Care Section.  Clinical and teaching activities are at Duke University Health System, Duke Regional Hospital, and at the in-patient hospice facility, The Hock Family Pavilion.  He has several areas of active scholarly activities including the integration of palliative care into the primary care arenas, building physician resiliency, and quality improvement at end of life.
