Department of Medicine faculty have received notice of the following research, clinical trials, CME or other training awards.

Gary M. Felker of Cardiology has received a sub-award (U10-HL084904-) through the National Institutes of Health for a project entitled "ATHENA-HF."

Geoffrey Pitt of Cardiology has received an award (1R01-HL122967-01A1) from the National Institutes of Health for a project entitled "Calmodulin regulation of Na+ channels in neurons and cardiomyocytes." Total funding will be $2,090,793.

Gillian D. Schmidler of Cardiology has received a sub-award (HHSA290201200014I) through the Oregon Health & Science University for a project entitled "Topic Refinement and Systematic Review for Catheter Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation - Technology Assessment." Total funding will be $74,509.
