General Internal Medicine announces the 5th annual Excellence Awards to honor the outstanding achievements of our division's faculty and staff members in clinical care, education, research, implementation, and professionalism.
GIM will solicit nominations for awards broadly. Nominations should consist of a primary letter of nomination outlining the candidate’s contributions, written by another faculty or staff member who is familiar with these contributions. Nominations will be reviewed by the GIM Awards Selections Committee who will present their choices to the Division Chief for final approval.
The award winners will be announced sometime in the fall of 2020. We usually announce these awards at our annual GIM Wine, Cheese, and Poster event, but due to COVID-19, this event may not be held this year.
