Funding opp: Duke Claude D. Pepper Center announces 3 funding opportunities

The Duke Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center aims to support research and promote career development under its theme “Enhancing Physical Reserve and Resilience to Promote Recovery from Late Life Stressors.” We are excited to announce 3 opportunities for funding beginning July 1,  2018; please distribute widely to colleagues for whom this may be of interest.

  1. Research Career Development Awards –2 awards of up to $60,0000/year for 2 years for early faculty conducting research in our theme
  2. Pilot Study Awards - $25,000-40,000 awards for 1-2 years for innovative pilot studies  in our theme
  3. Physical Measures Health Innovation Technology Development Award - $10,000 per year for 1-2 years for innovative measurement solutions for studying physical resilience in older adults
