What are your career goals?

Currently my goal following fellowship is to join a practice as a general nephrologist. I am particularly interested in health care delivery, optimization, quality improvement, and cost reduction. I hope to explore these areas through my practice and to integrate skills learned in my engineering career to continuously improve the practice of nephrology.

What were you looking for in a fellowship program?

I wanted a fellowship program that would provide a broad exposure to all kinds of kidney disease in a supportive and innovative environment.

What are the strengths of the Duke program?

The Duke program offers a night float schedule and also flexibility to explore focus areas during the second year.
