Setji to serve as Interim Program Chief for Duke Hospital Medicine Programs

Noppon Setji, MD, has been selected to serve as Interim Program Chief for the Duke Hospital Medicine Programs, effective June 1, 2023.  In this role, Dr. Setji will lead the three hospital medicine programs and podiatry services at the acute care hospitals.  He will collaborate with site-based hospital medicine leadership and the Senior Leadership Teams at each hospital to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient care in General Internal Medicine and Podiatry services.   

Dr. Setji has been with the Duke Hospital Medicine Program since 2003 and has served as the Medical Director for the Duke University Hospital Medicine Program since 2013.  He is currently Associate Professor of Medicine with the Division of General Internal Medicine and works on the teaching service at Duke University Hospital. 

Dr. David Gallagher served as the Chief of Duke Hospital Medicine Programs since 2012 and was recently named Chief Medical Officer for Duke University Hospital.
