The sixth annual meeting of the Duke Center for Aids Research takes place today in the Searle Center. Susanna Naggie, MD, assistant professor of medicine (Infectious Diseases) will present “Strong Association of a Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) located near the interleulin-28b Gene with Response to Hepatitis C Therapy in HIV/HCV Coinfected Patients” at 12:15pm. Medicine chair Mary Klotman, MD gives the keynote, “Pathogenesis of HIV Nephropathy, Mice to Men," at 1:30pm.
