5 ways to enjoy the annual DGIM wine + cheese event

The annual Duke GIM Wine & Cheese event is just around the corner, taking place this Wednesday, October 10th, from 4:30 - 6:30 PM on the 6th floor of the Trent Semans Center. If you haven't submitted your RSVP, do contact our GIM Program Director, Megan Churchill.

5. Come Hungry (and Thirsty)

This is called the "Wine and Cheese" event for a reason, but there will also be lots of other delicious eats and treats as well as beverages.

4. Mingle

This is an event to kick back, relax, and enjoy some time with colleagues and, perhaps even meet someone new. There will be a great mix of DGIM faculty, staff, fellows, and even internal medicine residents attending, all joining in on the fun.

3. Strike A Pose

Be on the lookout for our photographer, snapping photos for our recap gallery. Those pictures will be in view from our DGIM website and within the next weekly eNews.

2. Check Out The Posters

With such a large division, it is always exciting to see some of the amazing research, case studies, and other activities that are taking place. This year we have TRIPLED the number of posters that are usually presented, so you are sure to find some topics that tickle your fancy.

1. Congratulate Your Colleagues

That's right! We'll be announcing the winners for our 3rd annual Excellence Awards! You definitely won't want to miss that, do you?

For all this and more, join us at the GIM Wine + Cheese social this Wednesday!
