Christine Bates, MD, pulmonary, allergy and critical care medicine fellow, received Chair's Research Award for Trainee Projects from the Department of Medicine.
The Chair’s Research Award funds junior investigators in the Department of Medicine who are making the transition to becoming independent scientists and planning for their first extramural funding.
Dr. Bates's project is "The Role of Cyclin G-Associated Kinase on Lung Injury and Repair."
