Congratulations to Dr. Satasuk "Joy" Bhosai on her promotion to Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine, effective July 1, 2021.
Satasuk Joy Bhosai, MD - Hospital Medicine
Dr. Bhosai joined Duke faculty in 2018 and since then has served a number of leadership roles that integrate her clinical, research, and academic interests. Dr. Bhosai has served as Chief of Digital Health and Strategy at the Duke Clinical Research Institute, Associate Director of the Duke Innovations in Healthcare, which is run jointly through the Global Health Innovation Center. In these roles, she has fostered partnerships and research endeavors between health technology innovators and the academic community.
Dr. Bhosai is hospital medicine physician at Duke Raleigh and has been acknowledged on the national and international stage as an expert in digital health and technology innovation. She has published in over 15 publications over the years and has a few drafts of works in progress.
Because of Dr. Bhosai’s strengths in health innovation and global health, she brings a unique perspective to the academic community. Her commitment to engage and collaborate with faculty members across multiple departments fosters the sentiment of collaborative efforts within the Duke community.
