Kelli Dominick Allen, PhD was promoted to Full Professor! Kelli has spent much of her distinguished career advancing the health of patients with osteoarthritis through her conduct of rigorous studies employing methods in health services, clinical and comparative effectiveness, and patient centered outcomes research. He work has focused on improving care for osteoarthritis, with a focus on self-management, physical activity, and physical therapy related care. She has established national and international prominence as a leader in this area, including her engagement with national workgroups to establish standards for care and clinical research in patients with this disease. Kelli has had an extremely successful track record of funding for her research from the VA, NIH, and most recently from PCORI. Her work has also been featured in the most widely recognized international journals. Kelli is also a superb teacher and leader within our institution, and she has served with distinction on numerous Duke committees as well as in her role as Associate Director in the Durham VA HSRD Center.
