Dr. Lesley Curtis promoted to Full Professor!

Lesley H. Curtis, PhD was promoted to Full Professor of Medicine by the Duke University School of Medicine Board of Trustees on December 1, 2013! Her appointment to this highest academic rank reflects the tremendous impact of her work to improve human health, her continuous exemplary scholarship, and the extraordinarily high esteem she has garnered as a preeminent scholar among her peers and scholars nationally and internationally. Dr. Curtis has spent her stellar career advancing the health of patients with cardiovascular disease, eye disease, and other chronic diseases through her conduct of numerous studies employing methods in health services research and policy, clinical and comparative effectiveness, pharmacoepidemiology, and health outcomes. She has  led national and international efforts to develop and refine advanced methods for the analysis of large secondary data sets. She has led numerous studies funded by NIH, AHRQ, and others, and her work has been featured in the most widely recognized international journals. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition for your truly outstanding achievements,  Dr. Curtis!
