Sunday, December 5, 5:30 pm in Baldwin Auditorium, Duke East Campus
Free and open to the public
Kick off the holiday season by attending a concert that features your colleagues and friends! Members of the newly formed orchestra come from 25 departments across the Duke medical community. The debut concert, conducted by Verena Mösenbichler-Bryant, DMA, features works by Beethoven, Bryant, Dvorak, and Tchaikovsky. Enjoy refreshments at the reception with orchestra members following the performance.
In January, the orchestra will be accepting new members who play the violin, viola, cello, bassoon, French horn, trombone or tuba. If you are affiliated with Duke Medicine and are interested in being part of the orchestra, contact HAND Performing Arts Coordinator at erin.dangler@duke.edu. Rehearsals begin Sunday, January 9.
The orchestra is presented by Health Arts Network at Duke in collaboration with the Multicultural Resource Center of Duke Medical School.
