Clinic Corner: PRIME

STAFFING NEWS: Welcome back to Dr. Sophie Califano who’s been out on maternity leave. We are grateful to Dr. Christie Emler, Deputy Chief of Staff, who has been a regular Wednesday morning preceptor in her stead, even hosting Team H for team bonding and dinner.
VA CONSULTS: You may have already noticed an uptick in consult comments in your alerts. Staff are working aggressively to address/close out consults. Be sure to watch for consults which might require action from you for them to proceed.
BUSINESS CARDS: Don't forget to hand out your team business cards to your patients to tell them who their team members are and stress to them that we'd like patients to schedule with their PCP preferentially (which should be easier to accomplish by your using your color-coded availability grid to place RTC orders).
CONGRATS: Coming soon is an addition to our PRIME bulletin board – WOW award photo of Sonali Bracken for receiving Veteran compliments for outstanding care. And congrats to our newly-engaged PRIME couple, Anish Badjatiya and Madhu Eluri!
PRIME TRIVIA: If you're tired and can't think of the name of one of the male PRIME residents, try Nick; 4 of our 36 male residents go by that name, so you've got a 1 in 9 chance of being right.
