Mark Newman, MD, president of the Private Diagnostic Clinic, PLLC (PDC), announced the launch of the PDC's first website, pdc.dukemedicine.org.
"This public website is intended to keep [PDC members] better informed, and to educate and re-educate members, stakeholders and staff about the priorities and purpose of the PDC," said Dr. Newman.
The PDC is the faculty practice of Duke Medicine. A member-led organization with nearly 1,500 members, it is one of the first and the largest academic multi-specialty group practices in the United States.
The new website features general information about the PDC, its governance, facts and figures, clinic listing, news, key initiatives, job postings, easy access to the PDC Intranet, contact form, and much more. It is not intended to be a source of information for patients, and does not compete with or replace dukemedicine.org as the primary portal for patients.
In addition, the PDC Intranet is a source for key information for PDC members and staff. The intranet requires log in with Duke NetID, and features a Member Resources page to help members find the benefits, policies and information specifically for PDC members.
