Bruce Peyser, MD, Professor of Medicine (General Internal Medicine), was selected as the 2022 Primary Care Preceptor Award recipient by the Duke University School of Nursing (DUSON). The purpose of this award is to recognize the exceptional teaching, mentoring, and leadership activities of preceptors in DUSON.
Dr. Peyser's dedication to coaching, mentoring and ensuring students receive clinical experiences that not only reinforce what they learn in class, but inform their own practice are truly noteworthy. He models effective teamwork and provides exceptional teachable moments for students.
