If you've been to the Duke General Internal Medicine suite lately (located on the 5th floor of the NC Mutual Building), chances are you've seen this face. Iris Harris is our DGIM Staff Assistant and has been working with us since June 2017.
Before coming to the division, Iris worked for 18 years as an Executive Assistant to the Senior VP of Customer Success Services at NetApp, Inc. For us, she handles divisional expense reports, purchases office supplies, and other administrative duties "that keep the ship running smoothly".
What does Iris like most about working in the division? Her response was "my co-workers and the variety of responsibilities I have."
Outside of the work, Iris loves going to the movies, reading, traveling and eating good food.
FUN FACT!
Iris once met one of the original Tuskegee Airmen when she was living in California.
