Monte Brown informs us that the health system is in preliminary discussions with vendors regarding the future of telemedicine for DUHS. As part of the evaluation of the possible future use of this technology, Monte has asked each Department to outline any current clinical or research project activities in this area, including current services, locations serviced, equipment used, location of the equipment, and clinical leaders. Monte would also like to know who in the Department of Medicine is evaluating or has an interest in exploring telemedicine. Medicine faculty members with an interest in or experience with telemedicine should contact Anton Zuiker by September 22, 2010.
