Jason Webb, MD, GIM Assistant Professor of Medicine and Palliative Care Specialist, presented an online international grand rounds for Health4TheWorld on Friday, June 8. His presentation was entitled, "Depression in Advanced Cancer Patients". Dr. Webb spoke about:
- cancer symptoms and how symptoms can make a diagnosis of depression difficult
- dysfunction due to depression is key to assessing further treatment modalities
- picking a few go-to medications and knowing how to use them well
