We are proud to welcome a new faculty member and a new staff member to the Division of General Internal Medicine.
FACULTY:
John Franzone, MD, joins DGIM faculty as a hospitalist in Duke University Hospital. Dr. Franzone received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency and his chief residency year at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in Flushing, NY.
STAFF:
Lauren Benning is a part-time Clinical Research Specialist who will assist faculty in conducting research. Lauren is currently a fourth year medical student at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated from Duke University in 2011.
Be sure to say "hello" to Lauren when you're nearby to division offices in the NC Mutual Building or meeting Dr. Franzone in the hospital.
