Workshop: Teaching & evaluating communication skills in the outpatient setting

James Tulsky, MD, professor of medicine (General Internal Medicine) and director of the Duke Center for Palliative Care, and Bob Arnold (University of Pittsburgh) will present this workshop Fri., Feb. 11, 2011 from 8am to 3pm in the Friedl Building.
Excellent, small group situation (maximum 12 participants) learning how to observe, teach and evaluate communication skills of your residents and fellows in the ambulatory clinic setting... for all of us teaching residents and fellows in the outpatient setting, this is an excellent opportunity to develop our skills in teaching the residents patient communication skills..
Drs. Tulsky and Arnold are international leaders in the area of patient communication, this is a terrific opportunity to increase our knowledge as clinical educators.
