What are your career goals?

I am interested in pursuing a career in academic nephrology and medical education.

What were you looking for in a fellowship program?

A program that offers different clinical concentrations and research opportunities; one that would allow me to tailor the curriculum to my own interests in nephrology. I was also looking for a program with mentors that can guide me through a career in academic medicine.

Which Scholar pathway will you choose and why?

The 2-year clinician concentration pathway. I also hope to enroll in the Society for Early Education Scholars (SEEDS) program.

What are the strengths of the Duke program?

There is a true sense of collegiality among the fellows and faculty. The faculty, APDs and PD are very supportive and are constantly seeking feedback from the fellows.
