2023 Black History Month GI Grand Rounds

Duke Gastroenterology division is honored to present the 2023 Black History Month GI Grand Rounds series. This series begins February 1 with Rotonya Carr, MD as the distinguished guest presenter of the 2023 Joanne A. P. Wilson Lecture. Dr. Rotonya Carr is the Cyrus E. Rubin Chair, and Division Head of Gastroenterology at the University of Washington. Dr. Carr's presentation, Why a "fatty liver" matters: Championing Early Disease Care in NAFLD will be broadcast live at 8:00 am, Wednesday, February 1. 

Duke Gastroenterology division is fortunate to also welcome featured guest presenters Folasade P. May, MD, PhD, MPhil on February 8, and Lisa McElroy, MD, MS on February 15 as part of the 2023 Black History Month GI Grand Rounds series. 

The Joanne A. P. Wilson Lecture honors Dr. Joanne A. Peebles Wilson, Professor of Medicine in the Gastroenterology Division of the Duke School of Medicine’s Department of Medicine.
