During his August 21st annual State of the GI Division presentation, Andrew Muir, MD, Chief of the Gastroenterology division (Duke GI) announced this year’s recipients of the Duke GI Chief Awards for Excellence. These awards honor the contributions of staff and faculty for their significant and sustained contributions to one of the missions of Duke GI.
2024 Award Recipients
- Anna Baker in recognition of contributions to the Duke GI community and outstanding performance in their role in Duke GI
- Dawn Chestnut, CRA in recognition of excellence in the research mission
- Bonike Oloruntoba-Sanders, MD in recognition of excellence in diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the service of the community
- Alyssa Tassiello, BSN, RN for significant contributions to the clinical mission
