From the Director
Greetings from the AAIM –Hi Everyone! It’s getting to be that time of year where a lot of “end of year” stuff will be coming your way – SARs and ABIM exam registration, voting in the first round of med res awards, getting ready to sign up for end of year meetings with Dr Hargett or me, end of year photos, getting your fellowship CVs and personal statements in order, and the upcoming RISING SAR RETREAT (May 4th at Dr Criscione’s house) and the HOW TO BE A JAR sessions (small groups during AHD). Crazy! SARs also please vote for your SAR dinner emcees and invited faculty. Kudos to Harsh Patolia for his selection for an Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) National Oncology Conference Taskforce 2023 ACCC Innovator Award winner: “Effectiveness of electronic consults for immune-related endocrine toxicities in reducing appointment access time and preventing hospital admissions" Mentor is Dr. Afreen Sharif. Be on the lookout for chief takeover of med res news next week – send your kudos to Uncle Lonz, Father Thaniel, Mama Coles and Chief Duffy to get them in print!
This week, a few things to pay attention to. ACGME survey has closed – with close to 90% participation rate by you all – THANK YOU! Results don’t come in for several months so will let you know when we do!
SARs, boards signup reminder before the price goes up.
