From the Director

Yay to the ACC Tournament Champs the Duke Blue Devils! Major thanks to Sarah Moserowitz for making the brackets.  It’s also MATCH WEEK … super excited to learn about the newest members of the fam.  Looking forward to a strong showing at Grand Rounds as well as at our match celebration party Friday night.

Congratulations to Shannon McGue on her wedding this past weekend!  Happy Holi and Happy Purim to all who celebrate.

Kudos this week to Matt Goodwin for earning a Gold Star from a patient, to Sara Barlow from Megan Hatfiled RN and the night nursing staff for amazing care of a very sick patient, to Nivita Sharma and Lily Suarez from Megan Barrett for wonderful work on 9300, to Apurva Khedagi from Shelief Robbins-Juarez for amazing work in a very busy MICU, to Cayla Pichan from Emory Buck for her recognition of an important need for a patient that allowed him to get the right care, to Lauren Pinion from Alison Smith for her excellent leadership in the CICU and to Katie Centnor from Emory Buck for excellent overnight care of a complex patient.  Also kudos to Hannah Schwennesen for an excellent Cohen Conference and Jordan Infield for his awesome SAR talk.
