Lori Orlando, MD, MHS, MMCi, Professor of Medicine and Director of the Precision MedicineGenetics Podcast Program in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was featured on the Genetics Podcast on July 3rd (YouTube link).  The podcast is hosted by Dr Patrick Short, a University of Cambridge alumnus and CEO of Sano Genetics and has featured 141 podcasts to date.  Exploring all things genetics, the podcast features researchers and clinicians from around the world to discuss the latest findings and breakthroughs in genetic research and precision medicine.  Dr. Orlando discussed her work as a health services researcher, developer of the MeTree family health history platform, and her work to develop a sustainable model for bringing genomic medicine into primary care.  Family health history is one of the most effective tools for risk assessment and indicators for genetic testing.
