The division of General Internal Medicine held their first annual Proud To Be GIM Celebration on Thursday, October 26, at the GIM offices in downtown Durham. This was our first in-person division-wide event held since the pandemic.
There were over 6 posters displayed, lots of GIM-ers present, delicious food and drinks, lots of chatter, GIM swag items, as well as a presentation of our annual excellence awards by Interim Division Chief, Dr. Will Yancy! Check out the excellence award winners here.
Dr. Yancy also recognized the twelve faculty members in GIM who received academic promotions this year: 6 promoted to Assistant Professor, 2 promoted to Associate Professor, and 4 promoted to Full Professor. (See the photo gallery linked below for more information.)
