October 26th Town Hall on “Getting started and avoiding pitfalls: The Intent to Submit (I2S) and Proposal Intake Forms” Research Quality and Scientific Integrity Continuing Education Series
The DOM Research Quality Office is pleased to announce GRANTS 101, a series of education webinars to educate and engage researchers and staff in grant submissions. Our first townhall of this series will be held on 10/26/23 from 12-1PM on the I2S and Proposal Intake Forms. This townhall focuses with the first step of a grant submission—alerting the DOM of your intent to submit an external award.
Through case-based presentations, attendees will learn what is needed to initiate a grant request, the timelines for submitting focuses on the I2S/proposal intake proposal for various types of award, and specific components of the I2S and Proposal Intake form. We will highlight conflict of interest and data management potential pitfalls among other topics. Breakout sessions will include discussions of external subawards, career development awards and complex awards (MPI/P01).
Presenters will include Denise Wynn, Director of DOM Research Administration; Darcy Lewis, Senior Grants and Contracts Manager and Lacey Rhea Grants and Contracts Manager.
Those faculty staying and participating in the full hour will receive RCR 200 credit.
