The Department of Medicine and its Minority Recruitment and Retention Committee have reserved tickets and tables to the School of Medicine's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Banquet on Sat., Jan. 16. 6-8:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Trent Semans Center.
The theme of the event is "Workforce Diversity: Medical School, Residency and Beyond..."
The keynote speaker is Dr. Valerie Romero-Leggott; Vice Chancellor for Diversity, UNM Health Sciences Office of Diversity; Associate Dean, UNM School of Medicine; Executive Director, UNM combined BA/MD degree program.
