Duke University School of Nursing presents the Dorothy L. Powell Global Health Lecture and Research Symposium on Thur., Jan 23. This year's theme is “Increasing Access to Primary Health Care Globally in Low Income and Rural Communities.”
The keynote speaker for the lecture is Leslie Mancuso, PhD, RN, FAAN, president and CEO of Jhpiego, an international nonprofit health organization that is affiliated with Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Mancuso will be speaking on “The Power of Frontline Health Workers: Bringing Improved Global Health within Our Reach.” The keynote address will be from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Trent Semans Center.
