The School of Medicine's Office for Faculty Development will host a panel on Responding to a Grant Review from 4:30-6 p.m. Mon., Dec. 9 in Pearson Building Room 1014.
The peer review process is at the core of academic life and credibility, however, reading critical comments about your grant and crafting a productive response can be challenging. The session will address the nuances of responding to a grant review. This is a popular session and in the past has covered a wide range of issues including strategy, etiquette, and the psychological response to criticism.
The panel features faculty who are currently serving or have recently served on NIH study sections, including Monica Kraft, MD; Richard Premont, PhD; Christopher Kontos, MD; and Sue Jinks-Robertson, PhD.
