3 from Department of Medicine receive 2021 Golden Apple Awards

Lonnie Sullivan, MD, Aimee Chung, MD, and John Roberts, MD, MEd, have been recognized with Golden Apple Awards by the Duke School of Medicine medical students.

The Golden Apple Awards are the highest teaching awards presented by the Duke University School of Medicine student body to recognize outstanding dedication to medical student education. Recipients are selected by the entire School of Medicine student body, and only one recipient is chosen in each of the three categories each year.

Dr. Sullivan, a senior assistant resident, was selected in the resident category. Dr. Chung, an associate professor of medicine (General Internal Medicine) and pediatrics, was selected in the clinical faculty category. Dr. Roberts, assistant professor of medicine (Nephrology), was selected in the preclinical faculty category.
