Duke Ahead will host "Teaching in the Presence of Patients: An Interprofessional Perspective" on Wed., April 27 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in DUSON 1011.
The session is geared toward faculty and clinical staff who teach at the bedside and will feature facilitators Larry Greenblatt, MD, associate professor of medicine (General Internal Medicine) and community and family medicine, and Allison Clay, MD, assistant professor surgery and medicine.
The session aims to answer what we can learn from each other, how do others teach in the presence of patients and what attention you pay to setting expectations for the learner and the patient?
