Anderson receives K23 to investigate multidrug-resistant pathogens

Deverick J. Anderson, MD, MPH, assistant professor of medicine (Infectious Diseases) and chair of the Antibiotic Evaluation Team, has won an NIH Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award to investigate the clinical and molecular epidemiology of multidrug resistant pathogens in community hospitals. Dr. Anderson's co-mentors are Vance Fowler, MD, MHS, associate professor of medicine (Infectious Diseases) and Daniel Sexton, MD, professor of medicine (Infectious Diseases).
