Call for applications: Faculty interested in improving ability to teach on the wards or in the clinic

The Department of Medicine, the Division of General Internal Medicine, and the Internal Medicine Residency Program will provide funding to send one Duke junior faculty member to attend Stanford 25 Skills Symposium 2016.

The symposium, organized by the Stanford Program for Bedside Medicine and the Stanford Medicine 25 Initiative, is designed for early and mid-career physicians who teach clinical skills. The interactive curriculum aims to make more effective educators and to provide a community of like-minded practitioners with whom to share your passion and skills.

At the symposium, the morning will be spent as one large group in our plenary sessions and each afternoon participants will be divided into the different tracks of their choosing:

  • Stanford Medicine 25
  • 5 Minute Bedside Moment
  • Outpatient
  • Bedside Ultrasound
  • Clinical Skills Assessment
