The categorical interns will come from 34 different institutions, including 5 from Duke and one from the Netherlands. Twenty-three of the categorical interns are female, 20 are male.

"We are excited to welcome another outstanding class of new interns to Duke," said Mary Klotman, MD, chair of the Department of Medicine. "Thank you to all the faculty who helped recruit this fantastic group and for making Duke the best place to work in the country."
