Chancellor's Innovation Seminar series begins 1.19.2012

The Duke Medicine Innovation Council will host a series of upcoming seminars to promote translational research and innovation at Duke.
The kick-off seminar, "New Models for Translational Research and Academic/Industry Relationships", will be held on Thurs., Jan. 19. Along with many guest speakers from industry and finance, the keynote speaker will be Robert S. Langer, Sc.D., from MIT.
Y.T. Chen, MD, PhD, will be presented with the inaugural Duke Medicine Innovations Award for his Myozyme project.
This event, full of presentations, lectures, panels, and case studies, is open to all Duke Medicine and university faculty, fellows, and residents.
