Department announces first recipients of new health data science funding program

The Department of Medicine received 20 proposals for the first Chair’s Pilot Project Grants in Health Data Science

Joseph Rogers, MD, interim chair of the Department of Medicine, has notified four Medicine faculty that they will receive funding under the program. Their proposed projects were deemed to be most aligned with the interests of the Department, the larger health data sciences initiative across campus (see Duke Forge), and with the highest likelihood of impact on the Department.
