Division of Rheumatology seeks applications for tenure-track position

The Division of Rheumatology and Immunology invites applications for a TENURE-TRACK faculty position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level in the Department of Medicine. An MD or MD/PhD degree is desired, but PhD applicants will be considered provided they have a strong research background in the immune mechanisms of rheumatologic disease. This position is part of the School of Medicine's Partnership Hires Recruiting Initiative. Outstanding scientists working in the areas of immunology and inflammation are urged to apply. We particularly encourage applications from candidates with a strong background in translational research and rheumatologic disease. Areas of research may include: 1) regulation of lymphocyte function; 2) innate immunity; 3) genetic regulation of the immune response; and 4) immune profiling and biomarker discovery.
