The
Department of Medicine Faculty Development Academy has selected 32 faculty members for its second class of Fellows. The new class starts Jan. 2, 2014. As of Dec. 31, the
previous class of Academy Fellows will enter alumni status with continued access to many of the Academy resources.
Fellows of the Academy are Department of Medicine junior faculty who will participate in one of four branches – Basic/Translational Science Research; Clinical/Health Services Research; Administrator Path; and Education Scholars – and receive individual assessment of faculty development needs, a tailored program for each Fellow and training through core curriculum opportunities. This support will supplement ongoing mentorship within their divisions.
