Dr. Tosh promoted to Assistant Professor

Congratulations to Dr. Adam Tosh on his promotion to Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine, effective May 1, 2021. 

Adam Tosh, MD - Hospital Medicine

Dr. Adam Tosh has committed to excelling as a clinician educator within the Department of Medicine since he came to Duke in 2017. He quickly achieved the necessary requirements in order to be promoted to the teaching service, where he now spends most of his clinical time. He has been selected to serve as a faculty member in the Evidence-Based Medicine course starting in July 2021.

Dr. Tosh has honored his commitment to research and promulgation of knowledge via his involvement in medical societies. As a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, he has served multiple years as a local and national abstract reviewer as well as an on-site judge for the society’s annual conferences. Many of his metrics regarding efficiency and patient care have been outstanding, resulting in him being awarded Top Hospitalist in the fiscal year 2018, his first year at Duke.
