We are pleased to announce the SGIM acceptance of Daniella Zipkin, MD, to a three year term on the Education Committee. This particular committee is the most popular in SGIM and there were a limited number of openings.
Dr. Zipkin is a clinician-educator. She is the GME Associate Director for Ambulatory Care. Recently she completed a five-year role on the SGIM Task Force on Evidence-Based Medicine and she is a frequent presenter for the annual meetings of SGIM. Her first in-person meeting with the Education Committee will take place next month during SGIM 2016 in Hollywood, Florida.
“I’m very excited about collaborating with other national leaders in medical education to advance learners’ experiences and support the careers of clinician-educators,” says Zipkin.
