During Duke Health Education Day on Friday, March 12, 2021, Duke AHEAD recognized the Duke Outpatient Clinic as this year’s recipient of the interprofessional team award.
"The support that the DOC team has demonstrated for so many patients and each other, particularly over the past year, made this recognition well-deserved," said Duke AHEAD Director, Dr. Diana McNeil. "Because of their reflection that health equity for all is a right and a need and a goal for this clinic, Duke AHEAD is proud to award the Duke Outpatient Clinic the 2021 Interprofessional Education Excellence Award in recognition of their interprofessional support and care for patients, our community, and each other."
This award included a plaque as well as $750 given to the clinic to use at their discretion.
