Duke Outpatient Clinic recognized for excellence

By admin2
The Duke Outpatient Clinic has recently received several accolades for the good work being done there: The DOC received both the quarterly and annual Duke "Strength, Hope, and Caring Award" for the teamwork that went into the redesign efforts, which includes the DOC Care Transitions Effort. The DOC also received the Kirkland Award at the Duke Patient Safety and Quality Conference in March for the Care Transitions project. "This is a very prestigious award that recognizes the excellent care and teamwork of the residents, faculty, and staff at this clinic, which serves as the largest continuity clinic training site for the Medicine Residents," wrote Larry Greenblatt, MD, associate professor of medicine and community and family medicine. Congratulations to all who work at the DOC!
